I haven't blogged for awhile so instead of trying to catch up, I figured I'd just start where we are. We had quite a busy day today! Since it was a yucky, cold day and we got to stay home, I decided to fit some extra stuff in. We are going to be gone every other day this week because of one reason or another so this worked out pretty good! We made some clay dough and shaped African animals since we are studying Africa right now. Then we baked the dough and painted them. It was fun!

Then we made face paint to imitate the paint the natives use in Africa. Though my guys really didn't go for the native look but more of the KU and Steelers look!

This was the closest we got to the natives! We also made a mural on paper bags on the grasslands of Africa. All that on top of all the regular work for the day! I'm pretty impressed with us!
